Growing up in an iron town where multiple generations of my family forged castings and fittings, metal put food on the table. Overcast days, barges washing bait back up on shore and 6000° F sunsets fueling my curiosity. This upbringing laid a solid foundation for my life based on family, hard work and truth. So metal is the perfect foundation to hold my creative expressions. Bright bold colors contrasting on a beautiful piece of steel.
Fortunately I discovered local craftsman Tim Omspach of Vvolfy Metal Works to create these metal canvases. Tim uses his skills to bring my visions to life creating the base for my art. Working with this medium certainly adds more challenges to the creative process but it also adds more character.
